Project 365.

This past year has been the hardest year of my entire life. That being said, I have been trying to find my own personal therapies. ‘Project 365’ popped up on my Pinterest feed one night and I thought I could give it a try. ‘Project 365’ is simple, take one photo a day for one entire year, hence the 365. The long term goal is to work on my photography skills. The short term goal is therapeutic writing… So here goes nothing.

My first photo consists of some ingredients to my brunch that I enjoyed making/eating with my aunt this morning. The recipe ‘sunrise scramble with roasted home fries and avocado toast’ was from the “Oh She Glows Cookbook” by the wonderful Angela Liddon. (I will link the cookbook below this post) I took about 50 photos before I found the right one. I’m not sure if professional photographers have to do the same thing or if they’re so good at what they do that the first shot turns out!? I love the colours in this picture, and the mini pepper inside the big pepper, so cute! Although I would have preferred that the garlic and the knife be a little more in focus. Practice makes perfect right….Right?! I spent most of my time taking birds eye view shots but this one was the one that turned out the best, according to my “expert” opinion…
